Mindfulness in Cambridge

The Cambridge Centre for Mindfulness was founded in 2009 with the aim of bringing clinician-lead Mindfulness-Based interventions to Cambridgeshire.

The centre specialises in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), a therapeutic model that combines meditation practices with the well-established and highly effective Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) model. The centre is led by Mabel Martinelli, a clinician specialist in MBCT.

At the centre our participants take part in small groups of no more than ten participants, where confidentiality is assured. They meet with the facilitator for an individual session before and after the course, as to make sure they make the best possible use of the intervention, and they receive individual ongoing support throughout the course.

The centre benefits from the expertise that a clinician can bring to helping our participants to achieve their goals, whether they are seeking Mindfulness as a path to personal development, management of stress or dealing with health / mental health related issues.

Being clinician led, the centre assures the quality of its practices, and brings the security that attaining to a code of professional practice and clinical responsibility can convey.

The centre offers regular MBCT group and individual programmes.
